The Japanese smoothing product uses acid (pH level around 2) for gentle smoothing.
If you have any recent scars or scratches on the scalp, you might feel a burning sensation similar to if you got lemon juice on the scratch or scar. Please wait to use smoothing products until it heals or if you do not need to apply the product to the scalp.

If you have hair color with bleach, please wait to do self-smoothing for at least one week.

After smoothing, please wait to have any hair color as long as possible. The color will remove the acid from smoothing.

After going to the beach or swimming pool, please shampoo with Sammy Shampoo & Conditioner immediately. If you go swimming often the result of smoothing won't last as long. 

When you use regular shampoo (pH 5 and more), it causes smoothing results to fade.
Please use Sammy shampoo and treatment at home.
